Human error, medical error, decision making and appropriate design. Don't think this book is just for the medical profession. Groopman does a superb job of reviewing the modern literature on decision making, problem solving and human error and showing how it applies to the medical profession. But it doesn't take much thought to see how the same principles apply elsewhere.
Highly recommended as a fascinating and voluble tour of the recent scientific literature in these areas and the way they can be applied.
