Benjamin Franklin Medal in Computer and Cognitive Science
I am honored to be the 2006 recipient of the Benjamin Franklin Medal in Computer and Cognitive Science. Among the activities at the ceremonial week was a symposium and a very nice video that summarized my approach to design.
These are now available on the Franklin Institute website:

- The Smposium. April 27, 2006. University of Pennsylvania. "The Social Life of Machines". http://www.fi.edu/tfi/exhibits/bower/06/ccsci_symp.html
NOTE: The original award statement is no longer available on the Franklin Institute website. However, information on the award I received, and the the video (YouTube) are still available.
